The Annual General Meeting of Coolmeen GAA Club was held on Friday 11th January 2013.

 - Susan King, Secretary

Chairman Enda Haugh welcomed everyone and reflected on the highs and lows of the 2012 season. He congratulated the U14 team who won the Division 4 Championship for a second year. He also congratulated the U15 Coolmeen/Kildysart Team who won the Tom Conway Memorial Tournament and the Coolmeen/Kildysart Minor Team who won Division 3 Championship. A special mention was also given to the U15 Coolmeen team who reached West Clare Div Board B Final as well as the Coolmeen/Kildysart U15 team who will contest the A final.

The Chairman thanked his fellow officers, mentors, trainers, players, parents, and everyone involved in the Club during the year.

Outgoing Secretary Des Farrell reported on the Club’s activities during 2012 including the 125 Club Celebration Day held on Sunday 24th June 2012. He gave a detailed report on field maintenance and many improvement works carried out. He praised those who gave voluntary help or materials for improvements and history of the club display in Clubhouse. Assistant Secretary Susan King gave a detailed report on all underage participation and successes in various competitions.

Outgoing Treasurer Anthony Hanrahan gave an excellent detailed report on Club finances and emphasized the importance or the Lotto and Wren as major fundraisers. A fundraising committee has been set up to be chaired by Vice-Chairman David Neenan.
