COOLMEEN continue their perfect start to 2016 with a third victory, this time over Eire Og in Ennis on Saturday.

An impressive start from Emma McMahon, Clodagh Murphy and Niamh O'Connell who all pointed before McMahon landed a goal.

Eire Og kept fighting and point delivered from Sarah Cullinan before half time left the score Coolmeen 1:04 Eire Og 0:01.

Again, Coolmeen further attacked with fluid passing play, culminating scores from Sarah McCann, Emma McMahon and Clodagh Murphy.

Eire Og refused to drop their heads and responded with a further two points before the full time whistle. 

However, Coolmeen were stronger on the day and maintained their winning record.

Coolmeen meet Newmarket on Fergus in the fourth round of the division two ladies football league next month.
